Driveway to Victorian Property, Lymn, Cheshire

Remit for this was to provide a new 220m² driveway using reclaimed granite setts in both coursed work and fan pattern and provide new Bespoke Yorkstone Steps. Using reclaimed setts adds character and blends in seamlessly with properties of an older build such as this Victorian property.

The current driveway, although functional to a point, detracts from the beauty of the building.

New Steps formed ready for the bespoke York stone. The setts are all placed by hand in rows for easy laying.  Rare action shot of Cookie working!  To break up the setts we have a circle focal point.

We are also having some of the setts in a fan pattern. You will notice the metal fan shape, we designed these ourselves, using these ensures near perfect fans everytime. Sometimes the best way to really appreciate the setts is from above so we have included photographs from different angles and vantage points.
